I. Brief Introduction
Mr. Qi Lianfeng，B.A Degree in Economic Law, famous Chinese lawyer and media commentator, founder of Beijing Minghang Law Firm. He was interviewed by lots of top-level international media, such as, CCTV, People Daily, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times and he is also the member of：
Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce；
American Chamber of Commerce；
EU Chamber of Commerce；
Australian Chamber of Commerce.
II. Work Experience
Qi Lianfeng has been doing legal work over a decade and has worked in several enterprises, including: Hong Kong Coslight International Group, Australia MMLC Consulting Company (and involved in a short term project in HITACH Data System), Jindian Group and Yingke Law Firm. In 2014, Qi Lianfeng founded Beijing Minghang Law Firm.
In 2003, when Qi was in his early 20s, he brought up constructive suggestions to a significant litigation case that was worth of tens of million in RMB, by which the client’s loss of more than 10 million CNY can be redeemed. Until now, some of the cases he is handling are those knotty ones that are considered as impossible to be solved by other lawyers.
Qi is very experienced in government communication and public relations. Meanwhile, he keeps exploring commercial operation in legal practice.
III. Representative Cases
International IP License Agreement with 10 Million Dollars: Qi Lianfeng helped a client reach an international Intellectual Property License Agreement with 10 Million Dollars and participated in the whole process of negotiation on this project. Qi was in charge of all the legal works himself after the project launch.
Provide legal services to Top 500 enterprises on IP issues: Qi Lianfeng provided legal services to Fortune 500 enterprises like Apple Corporation, McDonald Corporation and Dana Corporation.
Real Estate Equity M&A Project: Qi Lianfeng once participated in a real estate M&A project that was conducted by the way of acquiring the equity of the ed company. Qi participated in all the work of negotiation and contract drafting in this project. During the process, Qi negotiated with different parties and designed legal framework in order to successfully complete this project and prevent legal risks.
Joint Venture Establishment: Qi Lianfeng ever helped the client negotiate with a company coming from South Korean and then set up a Sino-Korea Game Development Joint Venture Company. In the process, Qi Lianfeng was involved in all negotiations, drafted all the legal documents and participated in the whole process of company establishment.
Solve Legal Disputes on Construction Projects: In a dispute of construction project, Qi Lianfeng helped the client comb and analyze very complicated legal relations involved in the case and made practical strategies for the client.
Acted as the Legal Counsel for a Large Real Estate Development Group, in the meantime, Qi Lianfeng handled a lot of daily legal affairs for this real estate development group and this development groups’ subsidiaries, such as: Construction Company, Decoration Company and Property Service Company and handed a lot of litigation cases for these companies.
Crazy English Founder’s Divorce Case: In 2011, the Founder of Crazy English, Li Yang, conducted domestic violence to his American wife Kim Lee. After the event of domestic violence happened, Kim Lee filed a diovrce lawsuit against Li Yang and this divorce litigation lasted four years. Lawyer Qi had represented Kim Lee in the whole process of this case. Because of Kim’s disadvantages in this case, everybody including Chinese lawyers, international lawyers, the media and the public, believed that the result of the divorce case would be adverse to Kim Lee. However, after Qi Lianfeng’s hard and professional work, Qi Lianfeng helped Kim Lee gain 12 million CNY compensation and three kids’ custody. Thousands of media including CCTV, CNN, Associated Press, New York Times and China Daily had reported the case many times.
A Hong Kong Family Enterprise’s Property Division: The dispute on property division in a Hong Kong family enterprise related to property in China mainland. Qi Lianfeng was entrusted by the client to investigate the ownership of property, negotiate with all parties, and draft property division agreement for the client. Finally, Qi helped the client complete the property division successfully.

VII. Social Activities
A British Lord Chancellor Thorpe visited China on March 13th, 2013. Lawyer Qi was invited to attend the symposium on legal issues of marriage and family. At British Embassy’s residence, Qi communicated and discussed with Lord Chancellor Thorpe, the UK government official and DLA Piper LLP partner.
A British Lord visited China on May 15th, 2014. Lawyer Qi was invited to join the symposium on international custody, and exchanged ideas with British Lord and other lawyers.
From 2015 till now, Qi Lianfeng was interviewed many times by Washington Post, New York Times, and other international top-level media.
In March 2016, Qi Lianfeng gave a speech at Central University of Finance and Economics Legal Campus.
In July 2016, Qi Lianfeng gave a speech on the topic of Practice of Civil Litigation Law at Beijing Youth Politics College.
