If there are no national standards or trade standards, they shall be implemented according to the customary standard or specific standards conforming to the purpose of the contract.

If the seller and the buyer do not agree on the quality of the goods in advance, both parties can negotiate on the quality issue.

If no agreement can be reached through negotiation, the quality standards to be implemented may be determined in accordance with the relevant provisions of the contract or the trading practices. If no agreement can be reached through negotiation and no quality standard can be determined according to contract or trade practice, it shall be implemented in accordance with national or industrial standards. In the absence of national or trade standards, the customary standard or specific standards conforming to the purpose of the contract shall be applied.
